Purpose
“The purpose of life is to contribute in some way to making things better.” ― Robert F. Kennedy This chapter will emphasize how important it is to use our gifts, talent and blessings for good. We will also promote the thought that there is a primary reason for each of us being here on earth. While we're on the journey to live our lives we must serve within our talents, gifts and blessings. When serving other, the credit is not to go to us. It is to go to a higher power and we should always do it in the name of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose ROMANS 8:28.In this chapter we want to deliver a serious understanding that we are blessed to even have the opportunity to discover our primary responsibilities in this life. It’s great because we don’t have to be clueless! Your higher power has all of the answers. And I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship Me… Quran, 51:56-58. Our gifts and talents were distributed to us in order for us to motivate and accomplish greatness in the world.
“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson I Your purpose in life is to complete a specific task which only you were created to do. This path was not created for you. In fact you were designed and a program in full to conquer this task. Many people live there lives day by day with boredom because their creativity is not in focus. They have yet to tap into their vision or their purpose in life. So, they are lost. You are here to spread love, peace, happiness and joy. “Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will comes to you JOHN 22:21. What better way to complete this task other than honestly displaying love, peace and happiness through you life. True happiness is a fulfillment within itself. Joy is something that cannot be mute. It seeps through the pores needing room to breathe and brag of its heights of maturity. It cannot be contained! You are an example. It is not a choice that you have. Everyone is watching everyone to see what the next big thing will be. All eyes are on all eyes. This is important to remember when considering our children. If we do not change we will promote a generational curse to our future generations. Your life is an example and it molds what is to come, weather good or bad. Only you have the authority to make the decision for yourself. Encountering sincere peace, love, and happiness occurs when you are in your lane and pursuing your assignment.
Your gifts and talents are not limited to what you physically or mentally see right now. You will have changes in your life which will lead to grow. Growing encourages you to acquire more knowledge. That knowledge will intrigue you to want more. You will build competence in many areas of life. Competence will open new talents and gifts that are unknown to you at this point. Life will continue this wonderful pattern on an ongoing basis. Your gifts are only to be used for good. They will make you feel complete they will bring you great pleasure. These pleasures are not to be turned into greed or selfishness. For love for the love of money is the root of all evil. “You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously.”
― Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free
The only way to serve is to use the qualities of respect, compassion and humility. “It does not matter how long you are spending on the earth, how much money you have gathered or how much attention you have received. It is the amount of positive vibration you have radiated in life that matters,” ― Amit Ray Respect is the most important because in today’s society we have several different types of people with different beliefs and traditions. Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. Respect is needed in order to serve because until you respect an individual you will not be able to be of use to them in a positive manner. You will not have the correct viewpoints on how to proactively serve them if you do not respect them. Respect does not mean that you have to agree with their opinions or their beliefs but that you accept that they are a part of you. You accept that you are a part of them and both if you are part of apart of a greater purpose. For if only you agree about one thing which is that we are all here to serve then you will have some type of common ground .That common ground will allow you to effectively serve this individual. Compassion is sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others. Service is having compassion. True compassion is also looking at someone as a part of you. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these” MARK 12:30-31. Knowing that we all are one is the key. Seeing yourself in another person will allow you to treat them the way you would want to be treated. Compassion allows you to serve without holding back because when it comes to spoiling yourself you will spare no expense. You will allot yourself infinity and beyond. That is how we do must use our gifts. To serve. Humility is a person that is not proud or arrogant; modest: to be humble although successful or having a feeling of insignificance, inferiority, subservience. When it comes to humility, being humble is being tough. Humility is having this greatness about you but still able to communicate and relate to those who are not meek. Pride is the opposite of humility. Pride is over valuing yourself and undervaluing others. Be humble to serve.
“The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” ― Robert Bryne We must believe that our purpose in life is to focus on all the good that we can do to improve the world around us. This can be took into a literal sense with those who are physically in attendance or those who are apart of our daily atmosphere. This can also be looked at on a broader scale such as the impacting city or country or even the whole world. It just depends on the mind set of the individual. Ultimately, the whole point of the process of life is to focus and change. Change is the equivalent of growth. The equivalent of being focused is having dedication. So, in essence dedication to growth is one of life’s purpose. Along with being dedicated to grow we must add a mixture of our gifts, talents and visions. When you stir all of it together it paints the perfect picture of you. This is who you are. The purpose of every human beings life is to fulfill his assignment by using his visions, gifts, and talents to benefit the world while being dedicated to growth. I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me Psalms57:2.” “Dad was a philosopher and had what he called his Theory of Purpose, which held that everything in life had a purpose, and unless it achieved that purpose, it was just taking up space on the planet and wasting everybody's time.” ― Jeannette Walls, Half Broke Horses
